A Welcoming, Inclusive School Community

At Newtown School Waterford, we are a co-educational and multi-denominational school guided by the Quaker values of respect, equality and kindness. We are committed to creating a welcoming community-centred environment where every student feels valued and supported.

Our focus is on helping each young person develop confidence, independence, and a strong sense of belonging within a diverse school community.

We combine strong academic preparation with a flourishing tradition in sport, music and the arts.

At Newtown, students are known as individuals and are supported to thrive in a safe, caring and inclusive environment.

Flexible boarding options to suit every student

Newtown School is set on an 18-acre campus in Waterford City, offering a safe, friendly and welcoming environment for our students. A designated residential staff member is assigned to each year group. There is always a staff member on duty when students are in the boarding houses.
