The facilities of the school enhance the educational and living experience of our whole school community.

The wider community also avail of the facilities and we welcome the involvement of local groups and clubs. We are situated on a 18 acre site in Waterford city with wonderfully mature grounds and trees. The facilities at Newtown School are available for hire by external groups, find out more here.

Mountmellick House is the home of music in Newtown School. It’s rooms are busy both by day and by night, with our musicians attending lessons and rehearsals and of course, practising every evening.
